Your camera turns on only when you allow it, and AI processing starts only when you press Start. The Privacy Policy explains how video is handled.

Does live face swap really happen in real time?
Yes. While a session runs, your camera feed is processed continuously, so the swap follows your movement and expressions. Delay depends on your network and the model.
Do I need a powerful GPU or to install anything?
No. The AI runs on cloud GPUs. You need a webcam, a modern browser and a stable internet connection.
What kind of reference photo works best?
A clear, well-lit, front-facing photo with one face and nothing covering it. Only use photos you have permission to use.
Is my camera video saved or shared?
FaceSwapCam does not record or save your camera video or the live AI output. While a session runs, your camera video and reference image are sent only to the AI provider for the selected model so it can generate the result. See our Privacy Policy for details.
How does pricing work, and when does billing start?
New accounts receive 30 free credits for XMAX 2.0, and the Lucy models unlock after any credit pack or monthly purchase. Each model shows its rate before you start, and charges are based on generated seconds. Credit packs never expire; monthly credits expire at the end of the paid period. Can I use FaceSwapCam in OBS, Zoom or Discord?
The current version displays AI video in your browser. Sending it to OBS, Zoom or Discord requires virtual-camera output, which is planned for the desktop app.
What’s the difference between face swap, try-on and restyle?
Face swap changes who you look like, try-on changes what you’re wearing, and restyle changes the visual style of your whole video.
Whose faces can I use?
Your own, or faces you have clear permission to use. Impersonating or harassing others is not allowed.
